First stop on the road trip this weekend was the Wegner Crystal Mine in northern Arkansas. Packed the rock hunting gear, the sunscreen, and a half ton of water, and caught the bus out to the Phantom Mine. Totally worth the time and fee; we came back with four five-gallon buckets of rock, including a lot of great crystal points and some good-sized clusters.
