- No one has a card that’ll help the Alien Queen in their Personal Discard rows, so she draws four cards from the Draw Pile. She doesn’t get the red food Necessity she wanted.
- After throwing a fit and muttering about how stupid the game designer is, Alien Queen closes her active set and starts a new one by laying down her new Excuse card, leaving four other cards in her hand. (Note: she could have played the blue food Necessity before closing that set.)
